American Airlines offers discounted fares to Mainland

American Airlines is including Hawai'i in a New Year's fare promotion that includes discounts on travel within the continental U.S. and Hawai'i as well as tickets to some international destinations.Some sample round trip fares: Honolulu-Los Angeles, $333; Honolulu-Newark, $498; and Honolulu-Chicago $546. The fares must be purchased by Jan. 9, 2007, for flights between Jan. 9 and March 7.
