Where do you go when you're 'ono for bread pudding?

Advertiser Staff

Occasionally, Island Life writer Catherine E. Toth conducts staff-wide taste tests of favorite Island foods from local eateries. This year, she explored O'ahu's burgers and delved into fried rice. Now she turns her sweet-seeking attention to bread pudding, that king of comfort desserts.

Do you like yours moist or on the dry side? With fruit, in a deep dish, warm, drizzled with fresh cream? There are lots of ways to make bread pudding, and we want to know where you go to have it, and why that establishment's version is the absolute best.

Send your suggestions, by Friday, Jan. 12, to Catherine E. Toth at ctoth@honoluluadvertiser.com or at The Honolulu Advertiser, P.O. Box 3110, Honolulu, HI 96802. Be sure to include your name and daytime phone number. Or call her at 535-8103.
