Dozens of Hawai'i high school athletes from around the state yesterday signed national letters of intent — the first day documents can be signed that binds an athlete to a college.

Kahuku's B.J. Beatty, The Advertiser's Defensive Player of the Year, signed with Colorado.

Damien All-State defensive lineman Michael Sipili, who earlier verbally committed to Oregon State, also signed with Colorado.
