Man reportedly holds knife to woman's throat

Advertiser Staff

In an apparent domestic dispute a man allegedly held a female acquaintance at knifepoint this afternoon and forced her into a red truck, police said.

Police are looking for the man in all eight police patrol districts on O'ahu, said Lt. Jerry Inouye.

An anonymous caller told police the man grabbed the woman and held a knife to her neck in front of the Executive Centre condominiums, 1088 Bishop St. shortly after 2:30 p.m., police said. The man does know the woman and the dispute appears to be domestic, Inouye said.

"Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens frequently," he said.
