CHERRY BLOSSOM FAIR

The 54th annual Cherry Blossom Heritage Fair, featuring martial arts and mochi demonstrations, koto, odori and taiko entertainment, a bon dance and clothing and collectibles, takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i. Reigning queen Brooke Hasegawa and her court and this year's contestants will attend. Admission is free.

HALAU HOSTS CONCERT

"Ku'u Ha'eha'e" is a benefit concert for halau Ka La 'Onohi Mai o Ha'eha'e, run by kumu hula Keawe and Tracie (Farias) Lopes. Showtime is 6:30 p.m. March 12 at the Hawai'i Theatre.

Guests include Karen Keawehawai'i, Jerry Santos, O'Brian Eselu, Natalie (Ai) and 'Iolani Kamauu, Peter Rockford Espiritu and many more.

BENEFIT SALE AT THEATER

Tickets — $5 —go on sale Feb. 28 for Hawai'i's Treasures and Collectibles, a benefit sale for and at the Hawai'i Theatre Center. The sale, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 18, will include items such as furniture, rugs, three pianos, costume jewelry and art objects.
