Christian Bale stars as the big-winged one in "Batman Begins" today at Waikiki's Sunset on the Beach. Tomorrow's feature is "Spanglish," starring Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni.

Sunset on the Beach returns to Waikiki with food booths, entertainment and movies on that 30-foot screen.

Tonight's festivities are sponsored by the NFL Pro Bowl (happening tomorrow at Aloha Stadium) and include the short film "The Road to the Super Bowl" and the feature "Batman Begins," starring Christian Bale as the brooding masked hero.

Tomorrow's movie is "Spanglish," starring Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni.

Sunset on the Beach begins at 3:30 p.m. at Queen's Surf. Admission is free. 923-1094.
