Second Saturday means tours and more

Missed last week's First Friday gallery walk? Not to worry: A bunch of downtown galleries and shops is launching Second Saturday today. Info at www.louispohlgallery.com.

Among the attractions is the Hawai'i State Art Museum's new family-friendly program of tours, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Docent-led gallery tours are at 10 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. "Art Off the Wall" tours, featuring storyteller Jeff Gere as your guide to interpreting the art in new and unusual ways, begin at 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Each tour is 20 minutes long.
