Upcoming roadwork

The state Department of Transportation has the following roadwork scheduled this week. Motorists should anticipate delays, allow for extra travel time and use caution while taking alternate routes.

KUNIA WORK WILL CLOSE TWO LANES

The right Wahiawa-bound lane of Kunia Road between the H-1 Freeway and South Kupuna Loop will be closed tomorrow to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for drainage work.

In addition, the right Waipahu-bound lane of Kunia Road between Waipahu Street and Honowai Street will be closed tomorrow to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for roadway improvements.

SHOULDER LANES SHUT ON PU'ULOA

Both shoulder lanes along Pu'uloa Road from Kamehameha Highway to Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed tomorrow to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work.

Possible lane closures may also occur in various directions along Pu'uloa Road, Salt Lake Boulevard and Pukoloa Street from tomorrow to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for gas line work.

RESURFACING WORK NEAR CAMP SMITH

Single lane closures may be in place along Halawa Heights Road near Camp Smith tomorrow to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for roadway resurfacing.

LANE CLOSURES NEAR WAIAHOLE

Lane closures will be in place along Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn tomorrow to Friday for shoulder widening.

One lane of traffic in either direction will be closed and contra-flowed between 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

H-1 LANES NEAR TUNNEL AFFECTED

Single lane closures will be in place in both directions along the H-1 Freeway between the Middle Street Tunnel and the Pearl Harbor Interchange.

Work is scheduled for tomorrow through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for guardrail and attenuator construction.

H-1 WIDENING PROJECT CONTINUES

The right westbound lane from the H-1/Moanalua Freeway merge to the Pearl City off-ramp will be closed tomorrow through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, and 10 p.m. Friday to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The closures are needed for the installation of expansion joints and to install new freeway signs related to the H-1 widening project.
