UH to play Oregon State in football Dec. 2

The University of Hawai'i and Oregon State have reached an agreement for a Dec. 2 football game at Aloha Stadium, the schools announced today.It is the first half of a home-and-home series. UH spokeswoman Lois Manin said the schools are looking at 2007 or beyond for the Warriors to go to Corvallis, Ore.
The Beavers have three former UH assistant coaches, including Mike Cavanaugh, on their staff and have extensively recruited Hawai'i in recent years.
With the OSU game, UH needs one more game to complete its 13-game 2006 schedule. UH opens its season at Alabama and also plays Purdue.
