Pier 2 cruise ship terminal in service

Moorings with fresh paint await vessels at the Pier 2 Cruise Ship Terminal at Honolulu Harbor. The terminal was dedicated yesterday after undergoing a $26.5 million improvement project. The first ship to use the refurbished facility, the Norwegian Wind, is scheduled to arrive Saturday.

Michael Glenn, right, and his daughter, Shayden, 5, of Waikele, watched from the second level of the terminal yesterday as a Coast Guard ship entered the harbor. Glenn works for APAC Mechanical, the company that installed air conditioning as part of the project.
