Defending champ Rosales withdraws from SBS Open

KAHUKU — Defending champion Jennifer Rosales withdrew from the season-opening SBS Open midway through the second round on Friday with an injured finger on her right hand.Rosales was 5-over for the tournament and 3-over for the day when she withdrew at the turn. She was tied for 67th place to start the round.
Her win last year at Turtle Bay Resort's Arnold Palmer Course was her second career victory on tour.
Rosales, of the Philippines, withdrew from six events last year because of wrist problems.
