Customer allegedly bolts with clerk's wallet

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a clothing store clerk.

On Feb. 4, at 12:45 p.m. a man walked into Bonnie's Closet, 1026 Nuuanu Ave., and asked to use the restroom, police said. When the man came out of the restroom, he begged the clerk for money, police said.

When the woman refused, he grabbed her purse and a struggle ensued, police said. The man grabbed the clerk's wallet and cash then fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. The woman was not injured.

Hair: Short black

Clothing: Blue, gold and white baseball jersey with "M" for Michigan State, blue denim jeans, athletic shoes, blue cap with a kangaroo emblem.
