Former University of Hawai'i athletes Chad Owens and Victoria Prince will be guest instructors at this week's Hawai'i Speed and Quickness Clinics.

Sessions are $10 each, and will be conducted tomorrow and Sunday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. (for ages 7-12) and 10:30 a.m. to noon (for 13 and older).

The early-morning sessions will be held at the University of Hawai'i Athletic Complex. The later sessions will be held at Blaisdell Arena.

Owens, a former Roosevelt High athlete, was on the Jacksonville Jaguars football practice squad last season after leading the Warriors to successive Hawai'i Bowl victories.

Prince, from Kennewick, Wash., was a two-time second-team AVCA All-America volleyball player.

She led the Rainbow Wahine in every scoring statistic and ranked in the top 20 nationally in hitting (.402) and blocking (1.56). She set a UH career record with a hitting percentage of .407.
