It's your last weekend to catch "Women Generals of the Yang Family," a grand spectacle of jingju (Beijing opera) at the University of Hawai'i's Kennedy Theatre. Directed by Elizabeth Wichmann-Walczak, it's the historical drama of women who enter the battlefield after their general has fallen.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. today and 2 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets are $18 general; $16 seniors, military, UH faculty and staff; $12 students; $4 UHM students with ID. 956-7655, www.etickethawaii.com

There's a free pre-show event at 7 p.m. today, too, with director Wichmann-Walczak and guest artist-teachers from China demonstrating the techniques in "Women Generals of the Yang Family."
