If you're a nature enthusiast, WildFinder on www.worldwildlife.org may tickle your fancy.

WildFinder is a map-driven, searchable database of more than 26,000 species worldwide, with a search tool that allows you to explore places to find out what species live there.

The database contains information and images of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds, such as Hawai'i's endangered 'elepaio (right).

Find WildFinder under Explore on the Web site's home page.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

TRIM YOUR GROCERY BILLS

Do trips to the grocery store often result in a serious dent in your wallet? Consider these shopping tips from thefrugalshopper.com:

  • Make a grocery list during the week. Take it with you when you shop. Stick to it.

  • Prepare your menu for the week around what you already have and what's on sale.

  • Go to the supermarket early in the morning for a better chance of getting marked-down items.

  • Don't shop for groceries on an empty stomach.

    FINAL WORD

"The most important skill in staying calm is not to lose sleep over small issues. The second-most-important skill is to be able to view all issues as small issues."

Paul Wilson | author of "The Little Book of Calm"
