Hawai'i Youth Opera Chorus auditions for the winter/spring season, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, UH-Manoa music department. Seeking boys and girls in grades K-12 for enrollment in the program preparing them for Hawaii Opera Theatre productions that require children's voices. Rehearsals 1-2 hours each Saturday morning to develop vocal technique, ear training, sight reading, music theory and history. Entry fee of $25 for grades 3-12, which would be applied to the semester fee of $250.
