UH men's volleyball ranked No. 7

The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team is ranked seventh in the first 2006 CSTV/AVCA poll.The Warriors, who swept two exhibition matches against Douglas College of Canada the past weekend, received 141 points in polling of coaches.
Long Beach State is No. 1, receiving seven first-place votes and 229 points.
UCLA is second, followed by 2005 national champion Pepperdine and Brigham Young.
The Warriors open the regular season with road matches against No. 8 UC Santa Barbara Friday and Saturday.
