Police, FBI searching for bank robber

Honolulu police and agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Makiki branch of Hawaii National Bank on Thursday.

At 3:55 p.m. on Thursday the man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said. While leaving with an undisclosed amount of money, a teller saw a weapon tucked into the waistband of the man's jeans.

He fled on foot toward Pi'ikoi Street.
