Police said the stabbing suspect and victim, 25, lived in the same apartment on Lokowai Place. They said the woman suspected of the stabbing got into an argument with her boyfriend in the apartment building parking lot about 4:15 a.m., became irate, went back into the apartment and stabbed the victim several times in the arms.

The victim drove herself to the hospital, which notified police about the stabbing. Police then went to the apartment and arrested the suspect for suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.

The victim was treated for multiple puncture wounds to her arms and released in good condition.

Man allegedly breaks in, assaults ex-girlfriend, two others

A 29-year-old Salt Lake man was arrested yesterday in connection with a November incident in which he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in Wahiawa and assaulted her, her mother and the former girlfriend's male acquaintance.

Police said the former girlfriend, 22, was returning home with her mother, 39, and a male friend about 11 p.m. Nov. 8 when she saw her former boyfriend approaching.

The three went inside the home, locked all of the doors and told the suspect to leave, but he broke through a bedroom window and entered the house, police said.

The victims told police the intruder assaulted each of them before they were able to force him out of the house.

Officers from the Kalihi police district crime reduction unit arrested the suspect yesterday at his Salt Lake apartment for suspicion of first-degree burglary.
