Lane closures on H-1 near Vineyard

Two westbound lanes along the H-1 Freeway near the Vineyard Boulevard on-ramp are closed, and will remain so for several hours to repair overhead signs and lighting fixtures damaged by a motor vehicle accident this morning, state roads officials said.Work crews plan to open the lanes before afternoon rush-hour traffic, a news release from the state Department of Transportation said.
The department is asking motorists to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
