Man arrested in sexual assaults

A North Shore man was arrested yesterday for allegedly sexually assaulting a family member 13 times over a 30-month period.The woman who filed the complaint is now 20 years old. She told police the assaults began when she was 15 and led to her becoming pregnant and bear a child.
Police met with a 54-year-old Pupukea man yesterday and arrested him for suspicion of six counts of first-degree sexual assault and seven counts of second-degree sexual assault.
Man assaults girlfriend after threatening her with gun
A 29-year-old Kaimuki man was arrested last night for allegedly assaulting his 41-year-old girlfriend earlier in the day and threatening her with a gun a week ago.
Police responded about 7:20 p.m. to a complaint about a loud argument at the couple's home on Waialae Avenue. The girlfriend told police her boyfriend had assaulted her and that he had pulled a gun on her Jan. 6 and threatened her with it.
Police said the girlfriend filed a report at the time about the alleged threatening incident but police were unable to locate the boyfriend.
The boyfriend was taken into custody yesterday for suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse of a family or household member.
