Need help planning your jam-packed days?

Consider these ideas from Pace Productivity, a time-management consulting and training firm:

  • Use only one planner to keep track of appointments; separate business and personal planners create confusion.

  • Write a To Do list every day and check off items as you complete them.

  • Always plan time for balance; include family, fitness, recreation, social and spiritual activities.

    FINAL WORD

"Let us not wallow in the valley of despair. I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream."

The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. | The civil-rights leader delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech Aug. 28, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

    SAVE THE PLANET

    CONSIDER THE CORAL

Coral reefs are as fragile as they are beautiful. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration offers these tips on what you can do to protect and save coral reefs:

  • Support reef-friendly businesses — what is that dive shop, boating store, tour operator or hotel doing to help save coral reefs?

  • Don't use chemically enhanced pesticides and fertilizers, which may end up in the ocean.

  • If you dive, don't touch. Contact can injure or kill coral animals.
