By Curtis Lum
Advertiser Staff Writer

Police are looking for two men who are believed to be involved in at least three armed robberies this week.

The latest incident occurred last night at an auto body shop on Silva Street in Kalihi. Police said two men walked into the business shortly after 8:30 p.m., brandished handguns and robbed two employees of cash.

On Tuesday, three men wearing hooded jackets entered a convenience store on Mokauea Street in Kalihi at 7:35 p.m. and approached a female employee. Police said one of the men showed the employee a handgun and demanded money.

After handing over some cash, the 62-year-old woman was struck on the head with the gun. She was taken to The Queen's Medical Center for treatment, police said.

At about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 32-year-old man was in the parking lot of a convenience store on South King Street when two men approached him, police said. One of the men demanded money and the victim gave him cash and a cell phone.

Police said the victim was then pistol-whipped by one of the robbers. He was treated at the scene, police said.

Police said they believe two men may have been involved in all three robberies.

Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
