Police search for cross-dressing bank robber

Police are looking for a cross-dressing bank robber who hit the American Savings Bank branch located at 1851 North King Street on Friday.

At about 5:15 p.m., Friday the man, dressed in a purple and pink dress, bleach-blonde wig and a baseball cap, walked into the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said. He fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
