Chaminade beats HPU

Chris Reaves scored 22 points to lead three teammates in double figures as Chaminade beat Hawai'i Pacific, 84-63, last night in a Pacific West Conference game at Blaisdell Arena.

Chris Nelson added 15 points, Stewart Kussler 14 and Corey Campbell 11 for the Silverswords, who improved to 13-5 overall and 6-1 in conference.

Brandon Lee scored 11, and Joseph Ison and Adam Reinking each added 10 for the Sea Warriors (4-14, 0-4).

Chaminade made 19 of 31 (61 percent) shots from the field in taking a 45-33 halftime lead it never lost.
