Designer's gowns grace ocean estate

JULES BLY WEDDING TEA: New Zealand designer Jules Bly, who specializes in luxurious wedding gowns made of silk and imported laces (prices begin at $3,500) will present an afternoon tea and informal fashion show at the Bayer Estate, 5329 Kalaniana'ole Highway, from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Call Deborah Gibson at 737-2850 for required reservations.

MAX & CO. IN ALA MOANA: Ala Moana Center's Max Mara boutique will morph into Max & Co., the company's hip (and less expensive) little sister. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 5, champagne and strawberries will be served. A DJ will spin tunes.

TOD'S SPRING/SUMMER TRUNK SHOW: Iconic Italian luxury leather goods company, Tod's, will present a trunk show of the new collection of shoes, handbags and accessories for women as well as open a new men's boutique on the third level of Neiman Marcus, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 9-15.

ESKANDAR EVENT: Meet Tracy Bouse of Eskandar, the elegant, understated English women's line that has become so popular here. She'll bring the spring 2006 collection, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18, Neiman Marcus, Level 2.
