Police investigating apparent murder-suicide

Police are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide that took place early this morning in Waipahu.City paramedics were called to the scene, at the corner of Leokane and Pupuole streets about 12:50 a.m., said city Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
A man and a woman both were declared dead at the scene.
Cheplic said a 14-year-old girl apparently was taken to the Saint Francis West Medical Center by bystanders and was later transferred to The Queen's Medical Center where she was reported to be in critical condition upon arrival, Cheplic said.
Police said the girl is the daughter of the woman who died at the scene.
