Ala Moana park entrance to close Wednesday

The Diamond Head entrance to Ala Moana Beach Park will have a temporary detour and also may be closed periodically beginning Wednesday while the city works on an emergency wastewater bypass project.Contractors will be grouting and then trenching the road just inside the park entrance to connect an emergency 42-inch sewage pipe to the existing wastewater system. The work is expected to last 30 days.
