LARRY TAKASHI HASHIMOTO, 81, of Kane'ohe, died June 25, 2006. Born in Waihe'e, Maui. Retired state electrician. MARIE MICHIKO ICHIDA, 95, of Honolulu, died June 22, 2006. Born on Kaua'i. Businesswoman, and supporter of the arts. Survived by daughter, May Sofge; sister, Elizabeth Tomita; four grandsons; two great-granddaughters. Service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Diamond Head Mortuary.

KAZUO IKEDA, 94, of Honolulu, died June 27, 2006. Born in Pu'unene, Maui. Retired Department of Education educator with more than 35 years of service, many at Nana'ikapono School. Survived by wife, Toshiko; son, Peyton; daughter, Linda Monroe; sister, Monica Kozuki; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Private service held. Arrangements by Mililani Downtown Mortuary.

FLORANTE "FLOR" DULCE ISLA, 57, of Wahiawa, died June 8, 2006. Born in Manila, Philippines. A staff sergeant retired from the U.S. Army; also employed with Star Protection Agency as a security guard. Survived by wife, Florida; sons, Floredick, Florderick and Florian; brother, Florinio; sister, Florida. CALIXTA "RITA" QUEVEDO JARAMILLO, 83, of Reno, Nev., formerly of Pepe'ekeo, Hawai'i, died July 1, 2006. Born in Pangasinan, Philippines. Retired from Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp. Survived by husband, Mariano; son, Oscar; daughters, Corazon Prestosa, Fran Church, Nancy Nemedez and Marieta Tagorda; brother, Manny Quevedo; sisters, Purification Magpantay, Cresencia Molina, Emeliana Tactay and Lydia Tuazon; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary; service 7 p.m. All night vigil at the family residence at 28-2870 Kukuikea Place, Pepe'ekeo. ANNIE KAWAILANI KAMAHAKU, 89, of Waimanalo, died June 24, 2006. Born in Lihu'e, Kaua'i. Survived by sons, James and Clarence Beaman; daughters, Napua Woolsey, Beverly Akiona and Rebecca Elaban; brother, James Ah You; 23 grandchildren; and great- and great-great-grandchildren. THOMAS C. LAKE JR., 76, of Kailua, died July 3, 2006. Born in Honolulu. Retired from Hawaiian Electric Co.; bass player with The Kahauanu Lake Trio.
