Police have booked a 23-year-old man in connection with a home invasion burglary in Tantalus that occurred after a shooting at the nearby lookout in which three people were killed.

Police said Adam Mau-Goffredo has been booked on charges of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, first-degree robbery and three counts of kidnapping.

Mau-Goffredo is also under investigation on suspicion of three counts of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree murder in connection with the homicides, police said. He has not been charged in connection with the shootings.

Police said Mau-Goffredo allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint at a home on Round Top Drive.

They said the robber took personal property and a vehicle from the home and drove off. Police listed two women, ages 54 and 58, and a 72-year-old man as victims in the gunpoint robbery.

The stolen car and its driver were intercepted by police near the intersection of Round Top and Makiki Heights drives.
