CONCERT: JULY 15

Take a trip down musical memory lane at "The Songs of Old Hawaii," presented by Halau Ka Liko O Kapalai. Local legends featured include Nina Kealiiwahamana, Iwalani Kahalewai, Boyce Rodriques, Marlene Sai, Ilima Baker Aylett, Kealoha Kalama, Bill Kaiwa, Kimo Alama Keaulana and Lei Hulu, Leo Nahenahe Singers, Ida Kealii Chun, Joe Recca, Wehilani Ching, Pudgie Young and Pua Melia Serenaders, Ainsley Halemanu and Ka Liko o Kapalai and Songs of Hawaii House Band. Doors open at 10 a.m., and food booths will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $25 presale.

CONCERT: JULY 22

Bay Area Van Halen tribute band Hot for Teacher is ready to rock 'n' roll. The group's set list includes Van Halen favorites such as "Runnin' with the Devil," "You Really Got Me" and "Dance the Night Away." Local metal band Buddhist Priest opens. Doors open at 6 p.m. for this all-ages concert. Presale tickets are $20 general and $40 VIP. At the door, general admission is $25.

CONCERT: JULY 26

'Ukulele wizard Jake Shimabukuro is the next headliner of the 2006 Music Mele on the Lawn concert series. Expect a mix of jazz, blues, funk, classical, bluegrass, folk, flamenco and rock from this Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning virtuoso. Tickets are $15 general, $10 museum members and Bank of Hawaii customers and employees, and $5 ages 4-12.

CONCERT: JULY 28

Crooner Michael Bublé, right, ends his sold-out "It's Time" world tour during his Hawai'i concert debut. Known best for his hit "Home," Bublé's Rat Pack-like sound can also be heard on the soundtracks of the movies "Down with Love" and "The Wedding Date." Tickets are $45, $55 and $65.

CONCERT: JULY 28-29

KCCN FM100's annual Birthday Bash celebrates its sweet 16 with two days of musical entertainment. New Zealand's Katchafire headlines both nights. The first night's lineup includes Fiji, B.E.T., 'Ekolu, Brother Noland, One Groove, Next Generation and Kani Makou. The concert wraps up the next night with Natural Vibrations, Kapena, Ho'onu'a, Kekai Boyz, Koa'uka, Malino and Lahaina Grown. Tickets are $16 lawn and $17 terrace until tomorrow; afterward, the tickets are $20 lawn, $21.50 terrace and $28 pool. Tickets to both shows are $30 lawn and $32 terrace. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

CONCERT: JULY 30

The 36th annual Ukulele Festival features strum-happy 'ukulele players from California, Texas, Illinois, Japan, Canada and Hawai'i. This year's roster includes Ohta San, Danny Kaleikini, Holunape, Herb Ohta Jr., Brittni Paiva, James Hill, below, Yuji Igarashi, Ukulele Ladies and Gents of Texas, Na Kupuna Ukulele Club of Chicago, Hiram Bell and the HUI Players and Roy Sakuma 800-piece Ukulele Band. Admission is free.

CONCERT: AUG. 4-5

"Swingtime Hana Hou!" is the theme of the Hawaii International Jazz Festival's two-night tribute to Nat "King" Cole. Entertainment is by Freddy Cole, brother of Nat, and the Freddy Cole Quartet. Other performers include Scott Martin, Gabe Baltazar, Nathan Aweau, right, The Four Freshmen and Groove Society. Tickets are $25, $40 and $50, with a $5 discount for theater members, those 62 and older, military and students.

CONCERT: AUG. 5

Pack your bags because Band Camp IV is back in a big way with a lineup of Hoobastank, below, Hot Hot Heat, The Fray and Rock Kills the Kid. That means post grunge to indie rock to alternative pop-rock. Band Camp, usually held at the Aloha Tower Marketplace, has a new venue this year. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $37.

COMEDY: AUG. 12

Next up to the Laugh Factory plate is David Alan Grier. After achieving fame on the variety show "In Living Color," the actor and stand-up comedian went on to appear in movies such as "Boomerang," "Jumanji" and "Bewitched." Grier's other TV credits include "Comedy Central Presents," "Premium Blend" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Tickets are $29 and $39.

CONCERT: AUG. 14

Get down to some musical monkey business with hip-hop greats the Black Eyed Peas, left. The Grammy Award-winning group of "My Humps" fame is set to appear in concert with the whole group in tow: William, Fergie, apl.de.ap and Taboo. Tickets are $45 and $58.50.
