Missed last night's First Friday downtown and in Chinatown? You have another chance to sample the creativity of our artists community at today's Second Saturday event.

At the Hawai'i State Art Museum, for example, storyteller James McCarthy will lead audiences in a 45-minute journey called "Weaving the Image" at 1:30 and 2:45 p.m. It's free.

Other venues taking part in the open-house event include The Art Board, The ARTS at Marks Garage, Bethel Street Gallery, The Exhibit Space at 1132 Bishop Street, The Louis Pohl Gallery, Pegge Hopper Gallery, Ramsay Museum, rRed Elephant and Tea at 1024.

Second Saturday is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
