Toddler on Maui dies after being struck by aunt's car

WAILUKU, Maui — A 2-year-old girl died today when she was run over by her aunt at a Ka'ae Place home in Wailuku.Police said the 20-year-old driver of a 1994 Ford station wagon was pulling forward in the driveway at about 9:20 am. when the car hit Cherish Reinhardt-Chock.
The girl's grandmother was a passenger in the car.
The child was pronounced dead about an hour later at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
