No plea in court from accused Tantalus killer

Accused Tantalus killer Adam Mau-Goffredo did not enter a plea on homicide and robbery charges this morning during an initial appearance in O'ahu District Court this morning.

Mau-Goffredo, stood barefoot in court wearing a white, prison issue jump suit and was represented by his attorney Brook Hart. He did not did not speak during the proceedings.

A preliminary court hearing has been set for Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., although Hart said he thinks his client will be indicted by an O'ahu grand jury before then.

Mau-Goffredo, 23, is charged with Thursday's shooting deaths of taxi driver Manh Nguyen, Jason Takamori and Takamori's wife, Colleen.

He is also accused of separate first-degree counts of robbery and burglary, three counts of kidnapping, and one count of theft stemming from the robbery of Nguyen and a home invasion at in the 3700 block of Round Top Drive that followed the shootings.
