Surf remains near 8-foot level on east shores

Advertiser Staff

The high surf advisory remains in effect for east-facing shores where surf is expected to remain near the 8-foot level at least through today, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere today, surf will reach 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores, 3 feet or less along west-facing shores and 2 feet or less along north-facing shores.

The south-facing shores will continue to receive small to moderate size swells into the weekend but the surf will stay below the high surf advisory level of 8 feet.
