One-vehicle crash stops H-1 traffic for nearly an hour

Advertiser Staff

All westbound lanes and one eastbound lane of H-1 Freeway near Middle Street were shut down for nearly an hour during rush-hour traffic after a vehicle heading toward 'Ewa flipped over.

The three westbound lanes were shut down after the 4:30 p.m. one-vehicle accident. The crash closed the far left eastbound lane after a portion of the concrete median fell into the lane.

The lanes reopened at about 5:30 p.m. No one was seriously injured in the crash, according to police dispatchers.
