Police search for visitor from California

Advertiser Staff

Police are looking for a California man who flew to Honolulu then disappeared.

On June 26, Christopher V. Grell left his home in Menlo Park, Calif. without telling anyone and flew to Honolulu, police said.

He checked into a Waikiki hotel on the same day and checked out the next day at noon. Grell asked the front desk to hold his luggage, police said. When he did not return for a few days the hotel sent his luggage to his home address in California. He has not been seen nor heard from since, police said.

Grell is 49 and stands 5-foot-10, weighs 190 pounds and has blue eyes, police said.

Anyone with information about this person is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.
