It's Summer Family Fun Day at the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo in Hilo, and that means games and crafts for the keiki, magic by Marc the Clown, face-painting and the petting zoo (1:30-2:30 p.m.).

Stick around for the 3:30 p.m. feeding of Namaste, the white Bengal tiger. And the other zoo residents won't be left out: They'll be given special treats, too.

Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Admission is free. (808) 959-9233, www.hilozoo.com.
