STAGE/SCREEN

Kumu Kahua Theatre auditions for one local female, late 40s to late 50s, for the Aug. 24-Sept. 25 production of Edward Sakamoto's "Mahalo Las Vegas," 7-9 p.m. today, at the theater. Audition will consist of a cold reading from the script with some movement and improv work. 536-4222.

Disney Entertainment auditions for the ongoing California production of "Aladdin," including roles of Aladdin, Jasmine, cast and chorus, 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday and 6:15-8 p.m. Thursday, Ballet Hawaii studios, Dole Cannery, second floor. Those auditioning must be 18 or older. Walter's Karaoke offers opportunities to compete in the 3rd annual Hawai'i Region National Talent Quest Karaoke Contest, a preliminary to the national contest Sept. 23-Oct. 1 in Laughlin, Nev.
