Services for Tantalus shooting victims Friday

Advertiser Staff

Services for Colleen and Jason Takamori, who were victims of the recent triple homicide at a Round Top Drive lookout, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary; visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Takamoris, both 53, died July 6. Both were born in Ho-nolulu and lived in Kapahulu. Jason was a plumber, plumbing teacher at HCC and bass player with many local music groups. A Roosevelt High School graduate, he attended Kapi'olani and Honolulu community colleges and trained as a trades teacher in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Colleen was a housewife and mother. Colleen graduated from St. Francis High School and attended KCC. The couple worked together at the Takamori family restaurant in a Waikiki hotel soon after they were married.

In addition to their daughter, Lianne, they are survived by Jason's mother, Aiko; Colleen's sister, Cynthia Lee Calverley; and Colleen's brother, Calvin Lee.

Family requests no flowers.

A memorial fund has been established at American Savings Bank to help Lianne Takamori with expenses.
