'Supernanny' seeks chaotic Island families at tryouts

By Wayne Harada

Got bratty kids? Live in a chaotic zoo? Help may be on the way, when "Supernanny," ABC's hot-with-advice reality show, comes to Hawai'i in September to cast families with kiddie-related woes, who will get help from supernanny Jo Frost.

Local families with kid-related issues can try out for the show's upcoming third season at an open casting, 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at Kahala Mall. Hawaii Pacific Entertainment, led by Lincoln Jacobe, is working with ABC officials on the Island casting.

Applications can be downloaded from ABC's Web site, where prospects can also see clips of the "Supernanny" show.
