Man, girl found dead on Lana'i

A 15-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man were found dead on Lana'i today, and police are investigating the case as a murder-suicide.The bodies were found in a field about a mile from the Lana'i Police Station.
Maui police said the girl had been missing, and police officers were searching for her when they found the bodies.
The names of the girl and man, both Lana'i residents, were not released, pending notification of family members.
Maui detectives are investigating, and declined to comment further.
