Ishii cards 71, but misses cut

Despite shooting a 1-over-par 71 Friday, Hawai'i's David Ishii missed the cut by one stroke at the Senior British Open in Turnberry, Scotland.Ishii's two-round total was 5-over 145. The field of 140 players was cut to the top 70 and ties, which were golfers with a score of 144 and better.
Loren Roberts, who won three tournaments to open the season, and Eduardo Romero lead at 10-under 130.
Craig Stadler, who shared the first-round lead with Roberts, is one shot back at 9-under 131.
