Airline cuts interisland fare

Advertiser Staff

Go! airlines has cut its interisland fares by $10 — to $29 for a one-way fare.

The announcement comes just a month after the Phoenix-based carrier sparked an inter-island fare war with its $39 one-way tickets. That fare was matched by both Aloha and Hawaiian airlines.

On its Web site, go! says the $29 fares are good for travel between today and Sept. 30. The tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, and are non-refundable.

Go! is owned by Mesa Airlines, which was founded in 1982.
