Myspace.com predator charged

A 25-year-old man was arrested after a 15-year-old girl reported she was sexually assaulted by him after she met him on the Internet Web site Myspace.com.

A search warrant was executed Friday at the Kalihi residence of the suspect, who was arrested without incident. During a search of the residence, police recovered an unregistered handgun.

The suspect, who was identified as Kalani Trujillo, was charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault and possessing an unregistered firearm. He was released after posting $75,000 bail.



Man charged after pulling rifle on driver

A 54-year-old Honolulu man was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening after pointing a pellet gun at another motorist shortly after midnight Saturday.

Both vehicles were traveling east on Ala Moan Boulevard toward Waikiki. The victim, a 24-year-old woman, said she believed the suspects driving was careless and erratic so she honked at him, police said. When both vehicles came to a stop side by side, the suspect reportedly stuck the rifle-looking pellet gun out of his vehicle and pointed it at the suspect's vehicle.

After the woman took down the suspect's license plate number, police stopped and arrested the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Bradah Ohelo. He was released after posting $11,000 bail.



Man charged after terrorizing girlfriend with knife

A 27-year-old 'Ewa Beach man was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening on Saturday morning after he allegedly threatened his 22-year-old girlfriend with a knife. John Kessler was released after posting $11,000 bail.



Man allegedly steals jewelry from former lover

A verbal argument between former lovers got ugly when the man allegedly robbed the woman of some jewelry yesterday. When police were called to the scene on Beretania Street, the man, 33, attempted to flee. When he was apprehended, police found what are suspected to be narcotics. The man is being investigated for second-degree robbery, abuse of a household member, third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.
