Hawaiian Electric Company will be replacing utility poles this week in Pauoa on Kaneali'i Avenue between Pauoa Road and Kai'a Street, and the area will be closed to all but local traffic.

Lanes will also be closed on Pauoa Road near the Kaneali'i Avenue intersection.

The work will begin tomorrow and will be done between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is expected to conclude Friday afternoon.

Hawaiian Telcom will also be working in those areas to reinstall communications cables.

Honolulu police officers and flagmen will assist with traffic control.
