Small south swell due on Friday

Advertiser Staff

The biggest surf of the day is expected along south-facing shores where wave faces are expected to max out at no more than 3 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Along all other shorelines, waves of 2 feet or less are forecast.

The rather bleak conditions should improve some as the weekend approaches, with a small south swell due in on Friday and a possible out-of-season moderate northwest swell arriving late on Saturday.
