Wie tees off early in LPGA Championship

Days after competing under intense spotlight at a U.S. Open sectional, Honolulu's Michelle Wie will be back on a course again on Thursday.The 16-year-old will tee off 7:43 a.m. Hawaii time in the McDonald's LPGA Championship in Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md.
On Friday, she will tee off at 1:37 a.m. Hawaii time.
Her playing partners in this women's major tournament will be Dorothy Delasin, who represents Turtle Bay Resort, and Mhairi McKay from Scotland.
The Honolulu Advertiser will provide updates on Wie's rounds on its Web site.
