Man accused of exposing himself

A 22-year-old Kalihi man was charged yesterday with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault in connection with an incident in which he allegedly exposed himself in Kalihi to three girls, two of whom were 13 years old and one who was 11, police said.

Police said the man, who lives at a residence on Kalihi Street, was arrested on May 18 for a similar offense.

His bail in the latest case was set at $6,000.



Woman reports sexual assault

A 43-year-old man was arrested yesterday in connection with sexual assault reported by a 23-year-old woman.

The woman told police the man assaulted her and held her against he will May 25 at a home in 'Ewa Beach, police said.

Police arrested the man yesterday on suspicion of three counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of fourth-degree sexual abuse, kidnapping and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

The case has been presented to the prosecutor's office in hopes of bringing charges against the suspect, police said.
