UH's Tausaga earns softball honor

University of Hawai'i first baseman Tyleen Tausaga has been named to the Easton-Bell Sports All-America third team for softball.Tausaga, a 2003 Kaimuki High School graduate, was second in the Western Athletic Conference with a .373 batting average in 2006.
She was tied for the WAC lead with 10 home runs. Her slugging percentage was .639. Of her 59 hits, 22 were for extra bases.
